Hi there girls,

As mentioned at church on Sunday, Im trying to organize a movie night for this Saturday night. It’s been almost a month since Life Girls when you all surprised me for my 50th birthday…… think I’m still getting over it!!!

The plan is to meet at the Metro Cinemas in Orange and see one of two movies (we are girls, and we do like choices!!!) Firstly there is Mama Mia screening at 6pm, and secondly there is The Bank Job screening at 6.30pm. Most of you are probably aware of what Mama Mia is about ( Abba type musical that looks fun) the Bank Job is about a famous British robbery that was very ingenious and the culprits were never caught (but Jesus knows who they are!!)

As the movies start at a similar time we will hopefully come out around the same time and then head off to Hogs Breath Café in Lords Place where we can have dinner, desert, coffee, snack or whatever your appetite and budget allows.

So….thats the plan, if you want to car pool, give me a call or one of the other girls who you would like to go with and organize a lift…..look forward to seeing you there.

Colour Conference

Hi Girls,
Well we are all getting excited.... Colour is nearly here. Yeah!!
We have 13 girls going now and its going to be a blast. We are all booked into a motel near the venue and looking forward to an amazing time together and hearing from the Father heart of God.
We will no doubt have lots of stories to tell, lots of photos and memories to share. Start thinking about next year and joining us for the most amazing girltime together.

Luncheons Galore

Well, do we have options for you.... On Saturday 23rd February we have two great invitations for you. Jenny really encourages you to chose one and be involved. Not only is it a great investment into your life, cause you are so worth it, but we want to support and encourage the women in our region. Both Oberon CLC and Harvest for Christ at Orange blessed us by attending 'Shine', so lets be a blessing to them too.

Jenny was invited to Oberon CLC to give an encouraging word through lunch so she will be attending Oberon. Melissa Humphris will be attending Harvest at Orange. So lets fill some cars and make the whole experience an amazing time of bonding, blessing and benefiting. Lets rise up and take our places in God's front line, its going to be fantastic.

So call either Jenny or Melissa today and register for one of these events. Its going to be great.

Welcome to 2008

Hi Girls,

Pastor Jenny has been seeking God for his plans and purposes for Life Girls 2008 and has put together a great program for this year. Its going to be exciting to see what God does in the lives of 'His' girls this year. So don't miss out, be involved, and see what God has in store for YOU. I'm so excited about it all, its going to be amazing.

Life Girls will be on the third Saturday of each month at 7.30pm so mark your calendars now so nothing else can be booked on that spot.

Each month we will meet at a different home and be hosted by the LifeGirl of that house for the evening. And on the 16th February we are meeting at Melissa Humphris' home at 7.30pm. Please bring a plate of supper to share. Knowing Melissa, its going to be a fantastic night.

Every 3rd month we will be having a 'theme night' at the church. Our first one will be Saturday 19th April and it will be a 70's night. So hit the op shops for your favourite 70's gear. On the theme nights we will have a guest speaker and in April we are blessed to have Heather Sinclair, Worship Pastor from Bathurst CLC sharing with us.

Life girls is for us girls so lets own it, get behind the vision Jenny has and make it the best year ever.

Make sure you get involved in a home group this year, its vital to study God's word and have mid week fellowship. Not to mention lots of fun. The Cromes home group meet Tuesday night at 7pm and the Summo's meet on Thursday night at 7pm.

We all believe its going to be a very significant year for our church so don't miss what God has in store for us both individually and corporately, see you on the 16th February!!! Can't wait.

Shine highlights

We are already only a few weeks away from our Shine Women's Conference and I thought I would bring you up to date with a few little sneak previews..........
We are having a lovely fashion parade!!! Affordable clothing for young and older girls...a lovely spring range and our girls are doing the modelling, some are a bit nervous about the whole experience, so come along and support them.
We will be having a pamper tent.....so slip off your shoes and enjoy a lovely relaxing foot massage and also a hand massage.
I would love to tell you a lot more of the exciting things we have planned for the day, but I don't want to spoil all the surprises!!!! Come along and enjoy.

Hi Ladies,

Greetings from Gilgandra! Sounds like a "great" day has been planned. The part about being pampered sounds "wonderful" to me. I know our Father will also pamper us with His unconditional love. I appreciate your prayers until then and look forward to meeting you all on the 27th. Must go, my husband has arrived back and I am needed to help weigh lambs for sale.

This year we are so lucky to have two gorgeous girls coming to share with us. Here is a bit about both of them:

Carol Godden and her husband Andy pastor Oberon Christian Life Centre. Carol is a youth extrodinaire and has a passion to see the lost come to Christ. A great testimony to her faith is that all her children are now following and serving the Lord.

Beth Volkofsky and her husband Rowan farm their property "Carramar" near Gilgandra. Beth also home schools their two children. You will recognise that Beth is a powerful woman of God as she communicates with passion and country warmth.
